Take 4 armchair ideas...

It’s December, it’s cold, we need to snuggle up and keep warm. What better way than in a super squidgy armchair? Here are four cosy designs for you to choose from:

There’s something lovely about having a little armchair in a bedroom. Milly (shown above) is charming, she has carefully turned legs, an ergonomically tilted curved backrest and sweet button backed detailing. Forever useful, she can be used to pop tomorrow’s clothes on or for a quiet moment before starting your day. Invest in one of these pretty coloured mohair throws from Annabel James, keep it handy on Milly so it’s ready to pop on your bed when it’s cold.

With two tone piping, extra chunky seat and back cushions teamed with a classic hand-upholstered soft wool grey, Evora would look fabulous in a study. He’s part of a stylish range that includes a two and three seat sofas, a corner sofa and chaise.

Add a bit of softness with this gorgeously tactile Icelandic sheepskin in white from Idyll Home. It’s the Scandi influence again, but boy, what a great one! Or pop it on the floor in front of Evora for cosy toes.

This beauty is called Dream, how apt! The frame is oak, and you can also invest in a two or three seater sofa to match. Sink right down into the double back cushioning in light blue, and relax in front of the fire. Light a candle or two to set the scene, this on trend concrete tea light set from Toast is specially designed as each one has a different depth so the light shines in a variety of ways.

Do you have a room with a view? If yes then invest in Wilfred, he’ll keep you company whilst adding a modern Scandi twist to your space. The solid wood tapered legs give him a elegant edge. Seen here in charcoal wool, he also comes in grey and blue, and is part of a sofa collection that consists of two and three seater versions.

For extra comfort add a cushion or two from Also Home. The Vancouver design comes in a brushed cotton grey marl with a choice of different coloured piping; coral, teal, lime, charcoal and white.
