Out & Out Trends: Take 4 seating styles...

It’s the New Year, a time of fresh ideas and aims, a period where we reflect on ourselves and often our homes. We’ve come up with four fabulous seating styles for any entertaining you may have coming up for friends and family.

CONTEMPORARY STYLE

Talisa is very easy to wipe clean which makes her a winner if you have kids! She’s also very stylish, and her pretty pastel teal shade is an on trend colour for 2018. The seat is smooth, but there’s a lovely embossed design on the outside of it, making for a tactile touch. The legs are made from metal, with a wood-effect finish, this makes them extra sturdy and ready to withstand years of use. Continue on the subtle color theme with this Blush Hygiea vase and these Pastel Lustre vases from Audenza.

MODERN CLASSIC

You can’t get more timeless than a wing back chair with button detailing. The sophisticated Canterbury oozes gentlemanly charm and he’s our most premium hand-upholstered dining chair. The studding around the edge is stainless steel and the seat sits on a solid wooden frame. Team with these beautiful Hanging Brass Sky lanterns from Rowen & Wren to create a relaxing ambience in the evenings.

INDUSTRIAL COOL

There’s nothing nicer than a relaxing brekkie is there? The Briggs breakfast bar stool is the epitome of cool. He has a hand-carved adjustable oak seat and a frame made from hardened metal. Seen here is the yellow, but there are seven other colours to choose from, so something for all existing colour schemes. Pop this retro Dandelion Clocks cushion from Andshine on the seat for extra comfort.

NEW NORDIC

The Scandi trend will never go, it’s so stylish and their designs are very easy to live with. Our Clayton bench is the perfect example, the tapered legs are elegant and crafted out of solid oak, and his bench top has a solid MDF core with an oak veneer top. Clayton comes in two sizes, this is the small designer bench set which will seat 6, and when not in use the benches can be stored neatly under the table. Plants and foliage are going to be very popular in 2018, so invest in these shallow depth concrete planters and bring the outside in.
